Verse of the Day
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
CommentaryOnce again God is showing His mercy towards Americans. The nation is rushing towards judgment. For the most part, the pulpits are silent to the coming confrontation with God. Most of the pastors are of the Laodicean spirit or hiding in the tall grass.
What God does is raise up a gifted, fearless football player who is not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since Tim was a child, he publicly gave glory to the LORD. Now he has a national stage to give glory to the Lord Jesus, and he is doing it! Many hate and mock him for this, yet the more they mock him, the more it draws attention to his stand for the LORD! Look at the intensity of those that hate and mock him simply because he gives God the glory. This is the Hard Left reprobates that hate God and anyone associated with the Holy God of Israel. This is at the root of those who mock Tebow.
In college he wore John 3:16 under his eyes, and he became associated with this verse. Now God is using Tim Tebow's national stage to once again reach the American public. I believe this is one last attempt before the judgment on the nation. The secular media is promoting him with John 3:16! There are millions of hits on the search engines with people looking up the meaning of this verse. This is simply amazing to watch. What the preachers failed to do, God used a faithful, fearless football player to reach the nation with the gospel.
As events are converging this year, with the possibility of severe judgments on the nation, God has thrown out His net to pull in one more harvest of souls! When a person is faithful to the LORD, just look how he can be used. What an example Tim Tebow is for all of us. Please pray for him as satan would love to destroy Tim's testimony for the Lord Jesus. Tebow Time: The three 3:16 references 01/10/12 "The fact that Tebow had 316 yards passing and averaged 31.6 yards per pass in the game didn't escape notice on Sunday night. Tebow wore "John 3:16" on his eye black in the 2009 BCS Championship game and has since become identified with the famous Bible message. The coincidental stats caused millions of fans to perform Google searches on the Bible passage in the past 24 hours. Here's one more unbelievable stat: John Ourand of Sports Business Journal reports that the final quarter-hour television rating for the Broncos-Steelers game was, you guessed it, 31.6. (John 3:16 reads: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.")"
Tebow-Mania stealing spotlight from Pats' Brady 01/09/12 This is just one of the many national news articles about Tim Tebow. He is a national sensation as he stands for the LORD. The entire country is now aware of John 3:16 through this exposure! God is so merciful.
Mile High halo over Mile High Stadium 01/10/12 They are looking for the supernatural with everything associated with Tim Tebow!
Please ask the Lord to bless and protect Tim. Ask Him with use John 3:16 to win souls and plant seeds. Ask the Lord to give Tebow even a greater stage to preach the gospel. Talk with people, and if Tebow comes up ask if they know and believe John 3:16.
May the Holy God of Israel bless and protect you.

'East J'lem construction increased 7-fold in 2011' 01/10/12 It is very possible as we go into 2012 that more focus is going to be on Jerusalem. Eventually this city is going to be the focal point of world attention and war.

Israel prepares for fall of Assad, Syria refugees 01/10/12 All Christians and the small amount of Jews need to immediately get out of Syria. When the Brotherhood takes over they will be killed. It will be just like the 'old days" when Muhammad was leading Islam.Top senator: An attack on Israel is an attack on US 01/10/12 Very few politicians outside of America would say something like this.
Is Libya Disintegrating as a State? 01/08/11 Libya is going to be just like Egypt. When the Muslim Brotherhood has control of Egypt, they will use it as a platform to take over Libya.
Scores more soldiers defect from Syrian army 01/07/12 No matter what Assad attempts to do, in the long run Syria is going to be part of the Islamic caliphate that will attack Israel.

I'm not a sports fan...but I love Jesus..and have great respect for someone who stands on the truth of scripture.God bless you Tim Tebow,God has given you an audience, and you are not squandering the opportunity. We all could learn something here.God will use us if we are serious and willing. Thanks for this encouraging true story,Dan.w
I noticed before you fixed your post that you had a header which read "Financial Armageddon", but had nothing underneath it. I've been hearing a lot about how this is coming very soon. Can you elaborate on it more, what we might expect, and how it may or will go down, and then what to expect afterwards? Maybe not in this post, but certainly a future one. Thanks. BTW, I absolutely love your blog! Keep up the good work!
I am a "die-hard" Steeler fan, so I was not happy with Tebow, but he is bold with his testimony while Big Ben doesn't really talk about how Jesus turned his life around this year, at least his interviews are not written nation-wide. I will pray for Tebow and his testimony but sometimes Satan's kids win a few battles even though they don't win the war.
I sure hope that Mitt Romney wins no further primaries. How can any Christian vote for a member of the Mormon cult for POTUS??
Mormonism is filled with blasphemous material, and it would most certainly affect the office of the Presidency and the state of the union - how could our Holy God bless that man or this nation in the end? If anyone does not know what Mormonism entails, please research it in light of the one and only Holy Bible!
Unfortunately, Romney will likely win the nomination due to his Mormon ties. Mormonism is a composite of Christianity and Islie. There are numerous similarities between Mormonism and the Muslim faith. Many Christians are too concerned with a "revival" of conservative values so they would fall head over heals to vote for a candidate like Romney were he the winner. Romney, himself, probably thinks that he is the fulfillment of the Whitehorse Prophecy--a Mormon who rides a metaphorical white horse and saves the US Constitution while it is hanging by a thread. A Cristless morality is worthless!!!
Satan would love to have a man like Romney who would draw Christians and Muslims together under a one world ecumenical mess!!! He then could have them revert to their roots of violence. Research Mormonism's 9/11 event called the Mountain Meadow Massacre as an example. Remember, Smith was shot and killed too in jail for inciting an overthrow of government.
I'll leave you with an interesting quote from Thomas Baldwin Marsh who was appointed by the "prophet" Joseph Smith as the 1st President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. "The plan of Smith, the prophet, is to take the state and he professes to his people to intend taking the United States and eventually the whole world. The prophet inculcates the notion and it is believed by every true Mormon, that Smith's prophecies are superior to the law of the land. I have heard the prophet say that he would yet tread down his enemies and walk over their bodies; that if he was not left alone he would be a second Mohammed to this generation.*" Did you catch that, "a second Mohammed to this generation"? *From "Mormonism: the Islam of America" published in 1912 by Bruce Kinney
Thank GOD for Tebow's witness! However, the very fact that God had to use a football game to get the nation's attention is an indictment against America too. We may love pleasure more than God. What do you think? I see God's everlasting mercy and grace and Men's folly at the same time. Hopefully, this is not the last call. Win people to Jesus folks. Jesus Christ is Soon2Come!
I have a smile on my face as I read your post about Tim Tebow. I praise the Lord that He's using a fearless young football player instead of an ineffectual tele-vangelist to get His point across to this Nation!
@Jane in Australia
Are you back from China?
I pray that Tim Tebow will be different from other atheletes who take huge amounts of $ to bare their physiques to model clothing items. All glory be to our Great God and Savior Jesus, who honors not only virginity but modesty also. We all need to strive to glorify Him and exemplify His Word.
A Mormon President could very well take away the separation of Church and State in this country. A faithful male Mormon has an invented priesthood, and one of the duties of a priesthood holding Mormon is to submit to what the Mormon false prophet asks of him. Another scary thought about a Mormon President of the nation is the fact that the Mormon church has control over a very large percentage of the food produced in this nation.
Here is a link from todays paper in Utah about Mormon beliefs.
